Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for world class Solution Architect candidates to lead and manage our strategic consulting partner relationship with Accenture, as a part of the AWS Business Group (AABG) focused on Hong Kong, Taiwan and supporting other activities across Greater China.

This is an ideal role for someone who has experience working for or with a global systems integrator, a large IT consulting firm, or Enterprise company. In this role, you will develop the technical capabilities of Accenture across Greater China so they can be successful in the cloud.

Working with Accenture is a team effort that will require cooperation and coordination with many stakeholders. You should be just as comfortable talking storage and networking with the VP of Infrastructure or continuous deployment with the DevOps team, TCO with the CFO, and cloud strategy with the CIO. If you are a problem solver with a broad technical skills, and have the ability to drive technical initiatives with our strategic partners you will enjoy this role.
In this technical role, you will architect enterprise-grade Amazon Web Services solutions, own the technical relationship and deliverables for Accenture, develop and execute workshops, lead white boarding sessions, author white papers and blog posts, and respond to complex technical inquiries.
As a Solution Architect focused on our strategic alliance partners within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the opportunity to help shape and take initiative to produce results on a strategy to build mind share and broad use of the AWS platform across our partner community.

Roles and Responsibilites
· Technical leader and trusted adviser in the area of cloud computing for Accenture across Greater China
· Serve as a key member of AABG in helping to define and deliver the joint solution set and supporting collateral.
· Set a strategic joint business development plan for Hong Kong & Taiwan and ensure it is in line with the AWS strategic direction.
· Execute the strategic business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. marketing, BD, service teams, legal, support, etc.).
· Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal development team to guide the direction of our product offerings.
· Assist Accenture in building an AWS centre of excellence within their organisation enabling them to offer and deliver AWS based solutions to our joint customers
· Work with specific partner Innovation Centres within Accenture enabling them to deploy prototype solutions using high-level services in the Machine Learning, Voice, Chatbots, IoT and Augmented/Virtual Reality domains
· Assist Accenture by enabling them on AWS services by delivering technical workshops, lead white boarding sessions & being the key technical advisor to them on AWS services.
· Guide and mentor our strategic partner consultants by executing on Proof of Concepts, and advising them on the best-practices to architect solutions in a performant, scalable, secure, and highly available manner on the AWS platform for our joint customers
· Demonstrate a bias for action and deep technical skills by authoring joint technical whitepapers, technical case studies, or blog posts with our partners
· Understand diverse perspectives of technical vision, creativity, technical acumen, and deep AWS technical skills by jointly designing and developing industry and vertical solutions

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· The right person will possess 8+ years of Solutions Architecture and partner management experience with 5+ years of experience working with GSIs
· Deep expertise in technology areas including: relational databases, analytics, big data, IoT, enterprise applications, serverless computing, containers, machine learning, web applications, security, networking, storage, or application development
· Passion for technology with some hands on experience within the last three years
· Able to deliver technical presentations to a wide audience
· Past experience leading white boarding sessions and delivering workshops to architects, operations staff, developers, and cloud technologists
· Demonstrated ability to think strategically, and act tactically, about business, product, and technical challenges
· Technology Breadth: Demonstrate architectural best practices applied across a breadth of technologies to solve organizational problems, articulate views/roadmaps for future development, and understand the interaction between infrastructure, operations, and development
· Technology Depth: Demonstrate detailed knowledge of concepts, implementation, patterns, and issues of at least a couple of technology areas
· Exhibit the attributes of learn and be curious by demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with a talented team in order to incorporate information about new technologies and business models
· Cloud experience with at least one of the major public cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
