Come join the Operations Design Team as we use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) models to develop the next generation of world-class fulfillment centers! We specialize in the designs surrounding automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems including robotics and high speed manufacturing. If you have strong technical problem-solving abilities and are looking to be challenged in a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment, then this job is for you!

This role will be project/program management heavy to ensure the tracking, QA/QC, and optimized process flow of CAD modules in North America and Europe. These modules comprise the sub-component design of Amazon warehouses, and are essential to a project's critical path. The ability to manage expectations and coordinate with multiple stakeholders is a must.

Responsibilities:
· Responsible for all aspects of design integration of architectural backgrounds, production and process equipment layouts with operational space design and planning of distribution centers.
· Lead, manage and coordinate all aspects of design program management like schedule, stakeholder communication, risk and quality, document and revision management.
· Present and lead design reviews with stakeholders. Manage approvals and release full design packages for execution and implementation.
· Provide technical leadership for process flows for building program. Provide coordination support between internal and external departments.
· Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.

· Facilitate process improvement initiatives.
·
· Effectively manage resources, quality and project schedules for on-time deliverables.
·
· Travel 20% to interact with internal and external business.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1+ years experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies and systems including robotics.
Experience with process design based on lean principles.
3+ Project Management experience.
Design-in Safety experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Industrial Design and Engineering (any discipline).
5+ years of experience in the job offered or related occupation of Design/ Innovation, Process/ Industrial Engineering or related.
5+ years of experience managing engineering or design projects.
2+ years of experience using business/ technical software such as REVIT, AutoCAD, BIM 360, BlueBeam, Microsoft Suite.
