Responsibilities:
Invent, design, and implement engineering solutions to complex material flow/transformation and human/machine efficiency problems throughout the global Amazon supply chain.
Provide technical leadership for large-scale industrial engineering projects using Revit, AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Projects.
Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and effectively influence, negotiate, and communicate with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
Lead and coordinate design efforts between internal teams and outside vendors to develop optimal solutions for the network, including equipment specification, material flow, process design, and site layout.
Provide leadership and coordination between internal departments and vendors for multiple sites.
Simultaneously manage multiple projects and tasks while effectively influencing, negotiating, and communicating with internal and external business partners, contractors and vendors.
Facilitate process improvement initiatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1+ Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems including robotics.
2+ Experience with process design based on Lean Principles.
3+ Project management skills.
Proficiency using business/technical software like Revit, AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project.
Design-in-Safety experience.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering (any discipline), Architecture or foreign equivalent, OR a related field OR 2+ years Amazon experience.
6+ years of Program management experience in the job offered or related occupation of Design/Innovation, Research & Development, Manufacturing/Process/Industrial Engineering, or related.
Experience must involve management of engineering or design projects.
Strong experience using business/technical software such as Revit, AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project.
Ability to travel 20% to interact with internal and external business.
