DESCRIPTION

To succeed, our products and services must be available at all times to our customers. eCommerce Foundation (eCF) owns the core systems, services and infrastructure behind Amazon.com, delivering key aspects of the Amazon shopping experience, managing hosting for Amazon websites worldwide, and creating the services that technology teams across the company use to develop and run their systems.
As a HRBP, you will work collaboratively with all levels of Leadership within the organization to impact the talent strategies needed to achieve business objectives. You will maintain and improve employee engagement programs, performance and talent management processes, training and development initiatives, and other key components to the employee experience. Providing both specific HR expertise and a long-term culture vision, the HRBP will be a pivotal role in our strategic growth plan.
To be successful, you must understand the business units you are supporting. You'll need strong analytical skills, delegation skills, and the ability to translate client business plans and goals into human resource capabilities needed to achieve results.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:

• The ability to understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company

• A true hands-on approach as well as the ability to successfully monitor the "pulse" of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement

• Experience with rapid and complex changing work environment

• Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement

• Demonstrated ability to coach and guide leaders

• Advanced project management skills; ability to lead projects at a network level to influence and obtain buy-in, and then drive execution and achievement of the right results

• Success in creating and driving effective employee relations and retention programs

• A stellar solutions focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions

• The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results

• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

· Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing company-wide programs
· Experience working in Global team environment with multiple time zones
· Experience supporting technology teams
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· High quality document preparation and presentation skills
· Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
· Ability to create reports and analyze people metrics
· Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with extreme discretion

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post-secondary degree in business, HR or related field
· 3+ years human resource business partner experience
· Facilitation experience at various organization levels
