DESCRIPTION

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for the administration of the day-to-day functions within the International HR team. He/she is the primary point of contact for employees and first line managers with questions general people support and employee relations.
This person must thrive in fast-paced environments, be able to manage through ambiguity, change and complexity, while supporting the impact to a global organization. This role requires excellent communication, facilitation and organization skills.

Responsibilities:

· Support line managers in all aspects of the employee lifecycle – performance management, employee engagement etc.
· Manage the onboarding and buddy process including developing creative and innovative onboarding material, engagement with new hires and all administrative requirements.
· Produce employment offers and complete all new hire paperwork.
· Provide full support to the International HR team with administrative and project based work.
· Work closely with the recruitment team to manage headcount and a seamless onboarding experience.
· Engage with the local Amazon HR operations team where required.
· Recommend new approaches, principles and ideas to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
· Maintain HRIS records and compile reports from database.
· Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Able to deliver high quality work, be detail oriented with advanced time management and organizational skills.
· A strong work ethic, be proactive and have the ability to succeed in an environment of ambiguity.
· Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, in a fast paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
· Proficiency in office tools and relevant HR systems (e.g. MS Office suite of tools, Workday and PeopleSoft).
· CIPD, currently part qualified, part study or full qualified. We would look to support further qualifications.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Proficiency in office tools and relevant HR systems (e.g. MS Office suite of tools, Workday and PeopleSoft).
· Must posess strong relationships with local HR teams and internal Change Network to support change management and communication activities.
