Job Title: Hardware Development Engineer II

Position Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and test mechanical hardware systems. Drive key aspects of product definition, development and testing. Create detailed test plans and drive execution of these plans through all phases of product development. Own CAD drawings and product specifications. Work with cross-functional interdisciplinary teams to deliver cost effective, manufacturable and reliable systems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Position Requirements:

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and two years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and two years of experience. Must have two years of experience in the following skill(s): 1) Designing and delivering complex electro-mechanical products, 2) hardware design, 3)using mechanical engineering development tools such as SolidWorks, CREO and ANSYS, 4) mechanical validation engineering, 5) design for manufacturing, design for assembly, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). Domestic and International Travel required up to 10%.
