Amazon Integrated Marketing (AIM) is the internal creative agency setting design and brand direction for Amazon's global brand and online retail websites. We are responsible for branding and the creative development of style guides for a wide range of services, features, and categories (Books, Movies, Music, Video Games, Electronics, Beauty, and many more) for the Amazon retail sites in North America. The production design team needs a traffic manager to own the global graphic ticketing workflow. As a critical team member, you will be responsible for the management and administration of incoming production design requests that span across multiple countries. The traffic manager facilitates the productivity of the production design team, validate the request against the allocated budget, and coordinate with campaign managers to set priorities. They can quickly assess the bandwidth of the design team that sit in multiple locations, and provide oversight into the production workflow process. They will partner with Traffic Managers sitting in other countries to improve the global workflow, and provide insightful guidance in improving the workflow tool.

As the ideal candidate, you can balance the urgent need from the marketing team and the existing resource of the design team and you constantly seek to understand both your end users and business partner's needs. You aren't afraid to prioritize, make decisions and communicate with authority. As a key member of AIM, your project management expertise and precision will continually raise the creative bar in quality, efficiency and workflow.

Responsibilities:
· Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
· Must be able to prioritize, be a self-starter, take on required responsibility and be detail oriented
· Ability to balance the workload of a large team of production designers, located in multiple locations globally.
· Drive and own service level agreements and protocols within the production processes
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and resource management tool for capacity planning.
· Continually monitor graphic requests to ensure they are delivered in a timely manner.
· Ensure budgets are maintained and graphic production plans stay within the assigned forecasts.
· Engage with business partners to ensure crisp communication between requests and designers.
· Provide end of month reporting to Finance for billing/invoicing.
· Escalation contact for investigating and resolving production issues.
· Actively manage and display ongoing project progress and allocations across team and portfolio, ensuring transparency and company-wide understanding of workflow and inflight-work streams
· Develop, drive and improve production workflow while establishing best practices to drive production cost reduction / cost containment while improving the quality of the creative output

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years in account or business operations management and/or marketing is required; online advertising industry experience, preferably in an agency environment
· Experience with the digital design process, design execution and roles on a digital design production team
· Knowledge of traffic workflow systems and previous experience “starting up” this capability in an agency/in-house design group environment
· Understanding how budget translates into resource capacity and capabilities
· Understanding of project management fundamentals, including the ability to identify and resolve issues, manage risk and allocate resources
· Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
