We are looking for a smart, passionate and results-driven web guru with knowledge and skills in building highly interactive web interfaces. We need your experience and expertise to deliver our marketing material in the most engaging and professional manner possible to our target markets in multiple European countries. We're looking for someone with superior user experience and graphic design skills along with strong technical knowledge in current web development technologies like JavaScript (NodeJS, TypeScript, React, Vue etc.), HTML and CSS.
This is an incredible opportunity to bring your frontend development skills to drive demand for multiple products in multiple European markets. You will work with our marketing specialists to define and shape the experience we use to engage with, and influence, our target markets, and you will have to adapt your work to each product and each market.

This position is based at the Amazon Services Europe headquarters in Luxembourg.

As Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, executing and maintaining our online presence (marketing site and all online collateral) in the European countries where we offer our products and services. You will implement and maintain robust instrumentation on all online assets to enable detailed web analytics.

Responsibilities:
· Able to quickly create wireframes and interactive prototypes for review
· Build best of breed, cross browser compatible, cutting edge web interfaces
· Collaborate with business owners to solidify requirements
· Assessment and analysis of current site traffic trends and user behavior
· Working on multiple projects concurrently while handling many different types of design requests
· Refinement, maintenance and enforcement of our current design guidelines and strategies
· Adeptly handling changing priorities throughout a product life cycle
· Be a self-starter and drive tasks to completion
· Implement and maintain robust web analytics instrumentation on our online assets

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· At least 2-4 years experience developing highly interactive, internet applications
· Excellent expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Frontend and Backend with NodeJS), and web services is essential
· Proven ability to work within ambiguous design constraints
· Work well in teams and respect and welcome ideas from partners, business stakeholders, and technical experts
· A solid understanding of web design principles and best use of current web technologies and scalable dynamic user interfaces.
