The AWS Marketing Website Experiences team builds and manages front-end components, services, and tools, used to power aws.amazon.com. We are currently re-building our platforms to better scale our offerings. Our tools are used by thousands of internal users across many different teams in AWS and the components are seen by millions of AWS users!
On the Experiences team, we're looking to build projects using modern web technologies whenever possible. This is a front-end position, with occasional opportunities to build full-stack software.

Our team is located in the Seattle office but we're flexible when team members need to occasionally work from home. We generally keep core in-office hours from 10am - 5pm. About half of us come in earlier and the other half of us stay later.
This position involves on-call responsibilities, typically for one week every two months. We don’t like getting paged in the middle of the night or on the weekend, so we work to ensure that our systems are fault tolerant. When we do get paged, we work together to resolve the root cause so that we don’t get paged for the same issue twice.

· Experience with building front-end infrastructure in large-scale web applications
· Demonstrated leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent work experience).
· 2+ years of non-internship professional front-end development experience.
· 1+ years of experience with at least one front-end framework such as React, Angular, or jQuery.
