We're looking for an outstanding Flight Dynamics and Controls Engineer who combines superb technical, research and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively.

The successful candidate will develop, implement and test control system algorithms for small UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems). She/he will have fundamental knowledge of control systems design and analysis with some practical real-life implementation experience. An aerospace background or physics-based modeling experience is required.

Export Control License
This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon's ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
· Strong fundamental control theory
· Ability to model and understand physics-based dynamics
· Experience with aerodymamics and simulation
· Experience with hardware/software integration and real time communication
· Strong mathematical/statistical fundamentals
· Proficiency in at least one modern programming language
