We are looking for a dynamic and organized self-starter to join our Private Brands FP&A team. The ideal candidate will be a creative and analytical problem solver who is a collaborative leader to work with a dynamic network of Business and Finance partners, comfortable with ambiguity, and an innovator to drive continuous improvement and automation in analyzing, evaluating, and reporting business performance across the Private Brands organization. He/she enjoys working with a diverse group of individuals and has a proven ability to dive deep to solve complex business and finance problems. This role provides an opportunity to partner across teams on data-driven projects driving enhancements and financial insights for senior leadership across our global Private Brands businesses.

Key job responsibilities

·  Partnering with other teams to prioritize improvement projects aimed at streamlining processes, improving our reporting, and providing deeper financial insight
·  Designing, building, and maintaining standardized and ad-hoc reporting for the global Private Brands business
·  Creating and maintaining insightful reports when explaining monthly and quarterly variances between actuals and plan
·  Answering leadership questions by diving deep into our financial data
·  Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of Amazon’s data across various financial databases
·  Driving process standardization and prioritizing improvements that increase the reliability and efficiency of reporting


·  3+ years of experience in finance or a related analytical field.


·  7+ years in finance roles with progressively increasing levels of responsibility
·  Strong analytical, financial modeling, and reporting skills
·  Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
·  Demonstrated ability to communicate across business teams and make the right calls using data to support decision making in an ambiguous environment
·  Advanced user of Excel, demonstrated ability to work with complex sets of data
