ES Tech, Salesforce Release Engineer

Amazon's Employee Services Technology (ES Tech) team is looking for a Release Engineer to help manage releases and build automated release processes for the Salesforce application we are building for our Leave of Absence and Accommodations (LOAA) business customers.

As a Release Engineer you will help develop/build scripts and tools that will improve the efficiency of the development and its build process. Our goal is to automate build and deployment processes and implement Continuous Integration. This position will work closely with project and QA teams to support ongoing and new projects. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, detail-oriented build engineer who has demonstrated ability working in a fast-paced and complex software build environment. This requires hands on experience with build automation systems to help maintain and improve our overall process.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for coordinating / deploying releases of the software.
• Define and implement a standardized deployment process that delivers patches, minor enhancements, and major releases.
• Work on automation of the provisioning of servers, deployment of code and general configuration management.
• Manage source code for branch and merge strategy.
• Architect and design continuous delivery process and automation with internal Amazon tools.
• Work with project managers, architects and team leads to come up with the decision for the need of code branches.
• Collaborate as a member of an agile team to get products developed and completed with best in class software development/deployment.
• Accountable for all aspects of a release plan and support transition plan/production readiness checklist.

Profil recherché

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of Release Management experience.
• 3+ years with ANT, and Eclipse development platform
• 1-2 years' experience in version control systems, incident tracking tools and Build/deployment tools
• 2+ years' experience of managing releases on large, global platforms
• 2+ years of experience of Pipelines, Jenkins, Git hub etc.
• 3+ years of Salesforce.com experience.
• Experience in Continuous Integration and delivery process
