Amazon's Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) team is seeking a Project Manager. This position is based in Seattle, WA.

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Project Manager will be responsible for managing company compliance efforts with applicable local, federal and international regulations at corporate locations globally.

The ideal candidate for this role can work successfully in a fast-paced launch environment, has experience partnering with business teams, is accurate and strives to stay ahead of a dynamic business, and always puts the customer at the center of their solutions. You know and love working with business intelligence tools, can model multidimensional datasets, and use that modeling to produce actionable recommendations and for key stakeholders and senior leadership teams.

Responsibilities include:

· Understanding and analyzing EHS data and information (e.g. EHS laws, regulations, benchmarking studies, industry best practices).
· Analyzing key metrics to uncover trends and root causes that inform actionable business recommendations.
· Managing projects in partnership with stakeholders (Security, Facilities, HR, Workers Comp, etc.) to ensure information on EHS polices and best practices are communicated, implemented and executed upon among employees, vendors and third-party contractors.
· Owning the development and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
· Continually improving ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers.
· Developing long term goals to drive continuous improvement aimed at enhancing the programming in a consistent and scalable manner across the portfolio.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Professional college degree in relevant field.
· 2+ years' experience in Environmental Health, and Safety.
· 5+ years' experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary, projects.
· 2+ years of relevant work experience in data science, business analytics, business intelligence or comparable experience in other big data environments.
