Employer Brand Manager APAC - Student Programs

The Student Programs (SP) organization is responsible for attracting, hiring, and integrating the best student talent from all backgrounds to build the future of Amazon’s global workforce. We are looking for a creative, self-motivated, high-judgment program manager to engage and attract future Amazonians. The program manager, based in India, will build the employer branding and recruitment marketing strategy to position Amazon as a great place to work for students across Asia Pacific. The right candidate is a strong communicator with experience developing authentic, measurable, and persuasive campaigns, especially online and via social media. The APAC Brand Program Manager will be responsible for evaluating, shaping, and amplifying the Student Programs brand in Asia Pacific. They will be responsible for building and executing the brand framework for Amazon Student Programs, will oversee the marketing budget in APAC, develop and execute mass advertising campaigns across multiple channels to ensure a cohesive brand proposition. The APAC Brand Program Manager will partner strategically with the global Student Programs brand team, central Amazon employer brand, internal communications and PR, business stakeholders, and external vendors to develop attraction campaigns and measure success. This role requires strong employer brand and recruitment marketing experience, analytics, reporting, budget planning, and writing experience. We are looking for a candidate who has a strong bias for action, thinks about long-term results, insists on the highest standards, is frugal, wants to learn, and delivers results.

Key Responsibilities:
· Evaluate current perceptions among students, universities, and business stakeholders across Asia Pacific to identify strengths and opportunities for growth.
· Raise interest and awareness of Amazon as a great place to work by highlighting our peculiar culture and builder-centric work environment, as well as other key differentiators that rise to the top based on research.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to create employer brand/recruitment marketing campaigns.
· Equip recruiters with the latest positioning, messaging, and marketing assets.
· Create compelling content for Amazon.jobs, LinkedIn, and other relevant channels. Build employee advocacy and encourage Amazonians to promote the SP employer brand with their universities and alumni groups.
· Communicate authentically and effectively to lead organizational change and rally support from internal stakeholders.
· Retain and coordinate external creative vendors to assist in the execution and development of employer branding campaigns and assets.
· Use data and testing to optimize and improve content and design for campus marketing programs and campaigns.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:

· Employer branding and recruitment marketing experience targeted to university students.
· Experience in advertising sales and media account management on LinkedIn and other digital/social platforms.
· Action based or programmatic campaign management and optimization experience (i.e., Google Adwords, SEO/PPC, ad exchange/trading desks).
· Analytical experience producing reporting and data-driven insight, especially Adobe Analytics and other advertising campaign manager platforms.
· Demonstrated understanding of internet advertising technology, virtual career fair platforms, and marketing automation.
· Experience measuring program impact against pre-defined success metrics and proven ability to employ data-driven decision making.
· Experience and strong interest in driving team level process improvements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:
· BA/BS degree or 8+ years of practical experience.
· 8+ years of experience in employer branding, recruitment marketing, advertising sales, marketing, or media across Asia Pacific especially in India, China, Japan, Australia, Singapore, South Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
· 5+ years of experience with campaign planning, creative design and execution, and management of brand budgets to drive strong utilization and optimize for campaign success.
· Experience writing narratives and successfully presenting to senior business leaders.
