Job summary
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Executive Marketing team is seeking a passionate Digital Marketing Manager with specialties in customer communications and demand generation. This role will plan and execute all aspects of digital marketing aligned to a portfolio of high-profile programs and events for the executive audience.

The Digital Marketing Manager will develop, execute, and measure customer communications to drive event registration and attendance, measure customer satisfaction, and keep customers engaged after events. This includes managing the program calendar; driving alignment of cross-functional stakeholders to deliver against complex work-back schedules; working with internal and external partners for creative asset development; owning relationships with centralized teams to understand, adopt, and influence best practices; optimizing lead flow processes and data insights; and facilitating live virtual events.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience running end-to-end demand generation campaigns in support of virtual or in-person events. They have a deep understanding of the lead workflow, automation opportunities, and platform integrations available within Salesforce and Marketo (or other similar marketing automation platforms). Familiarity with the unique writing, design, and communication styles required for senior leader audiences (e.g., CEO, CFO, CTO, CIO, CMO) is critical to this role.

Key job responsibilities
· Work with stakeholders to define and continually optimize intake and workflow processes
· Manage cross-team event calendar, ensuring stakeholder and leadership visibility, and adequate resource allocation
· Plan and execute comprehensive event project plans; manage stakeholder relationships and communications, report on status and recommendations to meet program goals, and escalate risks and challenges appropriately
· Build email, registration, and other demand generation programs within Marketo, and ensure integration with Salesforce and event platforms
· Maintain day-to-day management of workflow tools and lead flow data
· Define performance metrics, KPIs, and benchmarks for each digital touchpoint
· Deliver post-event reports and analysis with recommendations for ongoing optimization
· Be the team expert on all supporting technologies including Salesforce, Marketo, Splash, Tableau, virtual event platforms, and other internal digital marketing tools
· Build processes for repeatability and scalability of event activities, such as developing intake templates that can be leveraged by program teams to prepare for events
· Execute quality control reviews and testing on platforms before and during events
· Manage relationships with agencies and platform partners
· Integrate with key stakeholders and centralized teams across the organization to understand, adopt, and influence current best practices and event strategies

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of experience with marketing automation and/or CRM tools
· 3+ years experience driving demand generation through email, social, and paid media for events
· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology or a relevant field of study

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience facilitating virtual events across time zones and geographies
· Experience with events tools, such as GoToWebinar, ON24, or similar platforms- Deep knowledge of Marketo (Marketo Certified Expert) and Salesforce
· Experience within project management tools such as Workfront
· Experience with executive events and working with C-suite, enterprise leaders
· Experience identifying, vetting and onboarding new online platforms
· Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
· Understanding of design; basic competencies with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
· Excellent communication skills
· Extremely well organized and detail oriented
