DevOps Engineer

Job description

 

What are you going to do?

 

·      Support DevOps based project

·      Support new and existing deployments through the analysis of metrics, logs, system alarms etc

·      Conducts highly complex systems automation/scripting and systems support activities, including system integration and monitoring.

·      Propose and implement medium to large scale system deployment

·      Facilitate outage restoration calls, evaluate impact, notify the business, and restore system.

·      Work with Security team to ensure system configurations are in compliance with security policies and controls standards.

·      Create new tools and automation of existing ones to improve efficiency of product maintenance

·      Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid change (in case of incidents 7x24 oncall availability)

·      Due to the global team/organization calls and meetings out of regular office hours will occur

·      Weekend or late night work may occur during project phases

·      Ability to deal efficiently with escalations and difficult situations/people under pressure

·      High level of interpersonal communication, decision-making skills

·      Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and motives and to work in virtual cross-cultural, cross-border teams

·      English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication

 

What do we need from you?

·      Approximately 3-6  years of related work experience in engineering function

·      MS Azure certifications a plus

·      Vendor or industry standard certifications in applicable specialty or related technology areas desirable

·      DevOps engineering experience

·      Strong knowledge and experience on Docker Swarm; Kubernetes

·      Solid scripting skills (e.g Azure CLI; Powershell; Ansible)

·      MS Azure knowledge and work experience (Log Analytics/KeyVault/Service Fabric/Deployment Slots, etc)

·      Solid knowledge and work experience on Linux (Ubuntu)

·      Python experience (desirable)

·      MS VSTS knowledge/experience

·      MSSQL knowledge

·      Networking general knowledge

 

Shift : Monday to Friday 9-6PM
