DESCRIPTION

IMDb TV is shaping the future of digital video entertainment. Our mission is to build earth’s most customer-centric ad supported premium free video service, while making it trivially easy for customers to enjoy. To help us achieve this vision, we are looking for a Creative Director with a passion for movies and tv, to join the team to help lead the creation of effective 360° marketing campaigns for IMDb TV Originals.

We are seeking a team player who is a strategist, visual storyteller, and results-oriented creative marketing expert. This individual will handle multiple entertainment titles and tasks, supervising the creation and production of innovative creative marketing assets including, but not limited to: key art, trailers, digital assets, television spots, OOH, and O&O. This person will interact with creative agencies, Design teammates, and internal stakeholders to communicate the creative vision and approach to the marketing materials for streaming content.

The ideal candidate will lead the ideation and development of innovative, effective, and award-winning creative campaigns that drive viewership of IMDb TV Originals and 3P content. You come into this role with a strong POV and creative vision along with a clear, concise ability to provide direction to internal and external partners.

In this role, you will craft high level creative strategies that solve business needs, think across platforms, manage complex projects, and create tailored content across channels driving marketing objectives that have wide impact across the business. Forecast needs, allocate, manage, and track budgets for creative asset development, and work with key stakeholders to drive a schedule for projects while prioritizing and using resources effectively.

Effectively communicate with key stakeholders, (including Brand, Social, Media, Amazon Studios, Amazon internal partners), and external agencies. Work with senior leadership and Head of Creative to create processes and establish best practices that impact the broader department. And finally, you will work towards preserving the team culture of collaboration, teamwork, innovation, inspiration, and foster positive internal and agency relationships.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
· Basic understanding of language and format for various forms of post-production and/or print production
· Experience in managing workflow for the creation of creative marketing assets - including key art, trailers, TV spots, print and digital campaigns for multiple platforms
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Creative writing skills
· Proven success in project management and execution across all forms of media, print, video, social and digital mass medias
· Must be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sharp attention to detail
· Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
· Experience in handling multiple titles at once, and having the ability to prioritize, monitor and manage workload
· You raise the bar in the functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 6+ years of design experience
· An available online portfolio
· 2+ years of Video/Motion creative experience
· 7+ years of relevant marketing experience with a film studio and/or entertainment advertising agency
