We are looking for a talented lawyer to support our rapidly growing and evolving digital video business. Our work is intellectually challenging, exciting and fast-paced. Developing innovative solutions to novel legal questions is part of our daily business. You will serve as a lawyer responsible for counseling the business on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters and structuring, drafting and negotiating commercial licensing agreements for the distribution of digital video on the Amazon video service. You will provide day-to-day advice in a wide range of legal areas, including digital media, consumer products, marketing, commercial contracts and regulatory compliance. You will be part of the legal team that supports our growing digital and devices business throughout Europe.

The position is based in London but some travel may be required.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Fully qualified lawyer with outstanding academic qualifications
· Minimum 4 years post-qualification legal experience with at least two years in an international law firm, ideally with some experience supporting commercial transactions, licensing or other intellectual property work
· Minimum 2 years post-qualification legal experience working in Australia
· International degree (LL.M.)
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to act as a business partner to our business teams
· Outstanding legal and business judgment
· Proven ability to deal with ambiguity and to work well with all levels of employees and management
· Proven ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
· The ability to function as part of a European and global legal team and autonomously when required
· Excellent English skills are a must
