The Role:

As a Software Development Manager - This position gives you the opportunity to work with world class Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning experts, and distributed cloud systems. Your responsibilities will include coding in Java and working on distributed cloud systems, as well as undertaking feasibility studies to design cloud software solutions. You will work closely with an internal interdisciplinary team and outside partners to drive key aspects of product definition, execution, and test, as well as this you'll be involved in planning and maintaining database structures.

Key responsibilities:
· Ownership of the overall systems development life cycle.
· Execution against project plans and timely delivery of committed results.
· Management of day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment.
· Management of departmental resources, staffing, and mentoring.
· Building, enhancing and maintaining a best-in-class engineering team.
· Working closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical designs.
· Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management.
· Maintenance and enhancement of software frameworks for development.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
· A solid grounding in Computer Science fundamentals
· 7+ years' experience building successful production mobile application
· 3+ years people management experience
· Development of high-load micro-services using AWS Services
· RESTful Experience
· Experience working with Distributed systems or applications.
