DESCRIPTION

The Clinical Customer Care Team is an extension of the Customer Care Team and is the clinical support team for the Customer Care Team in Salt Lake City. Pharmacists on the Clinical Customer Care team will be the main source of clinical knowledge for our customers and for the Customer Care team. The Floor Manager for this team will oversee the Pharmacist Team Leads who manage the day to day operation and workflow for the team.

The Pharmacist Floor Manager has responsibility for all cross functional operational requirements with regards to ensuring that all of our customer’s expected prescriptions have been obtained, accounted for within their shipment, and that proper communication with the customer has taken place. You will ensure that all members of your healthcare team comply with federal and state rules and regulations as well as Amazon Pharmacy’ Operating Procedures. In addition, you’ll ensure that all members of your healthcare team are properly trained and have the tools and resources to drive a culture of quality and performance.

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: customer facing interactions, individual coaching, team supervision, leading strategic initiatives, and collaboration with other teams/departments to ensure continuity of workflows.

Core Responsibilities

· Lead and supervise a team of 3-5 CCC Pharmacist Team Leads. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of department performance across the pharmacist team.
· Participates and provides meaningful contribution when engaging in cross functional teams to increase efficiencies and achieve business goals
· Knows which decisions to make independently and which need approval; pursues approval and gets other stakeholders alignment
· Responsible for meeting our customers’ needs by planning and implementing processes and procedures that will improve the department’s results and improve efficiencies
· Interview, hire, and support documented training experiences for all team members in partnership with Recruiting, HR, and Training teams
· Develop team members by providing mentorship, educational opportunities, and progressive growth opportunities
· Responsible for the performance management and accountability of the team members within the department
· Does not only rely on existing ways of doing things; challenges best practices to invent novel ways of solving a problem. Operates with intent, succinctly sets relevant context and summary of purpose.

· Maintain regular Check Ins with Direct Reports
· Coach and develop Team Leads to help drive leadership, daily assignment workflows, and accountability
· Responsible for ensuring accurate staffing, hiring, and scheduling to meet company goals and forecasted budget.
· Frequently identifies opportunities for improvement based on data inputs and performs deep dive analysis to identify and solve for root-cause of problems
· Acts quickly to uncover any potential areas of risk or opportunity; proactively communicates relevant issues with appropriate recommendations
· Consistently maintain and/or exceed department’s defined operational metrics. Provides senior leadership with business review data, identifying highlights and areas for improvement
· Collaborate and partner with key stakeholders and leaders across multiple departments and locations, in order to remove roadblocks, increase productivity, and define workflows
· Execute Company objectives through Amazon Leadership Principles as they relate to the department’s function.
· Accomplish all other required tasks as noted above or assigned by senior leadership.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Progressive pharmacy management experience (3-5 years)
· Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations nationwide
· Proven track record of team leadership, growth and development
· Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
· Robust written and verbal communication and presentation skills
· Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment and adjust focus as needed
· Ability to apply clinical knowledge to customer situations in real time

Desired profile



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Doctorate or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
· Active and unrestricted Pharmacist License
· Progressive pharmacy management experience
· Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations nationwide
· Proven track record of team leadership, growth and development
· Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
· Robust written and verbal communication and presentation skills
· Ability to thrive in a fast paced work environment and adjust focus as needed
· Ability to apply clinical knowledge to customer situations in real time
· Flexible availability when necessary
· Ability to work from the PillPack by Amazon Pharmacy facility
