DESCRIPTION

Amazon is growing quickly and we are passionate about using analytics to help our company bring the right people into the right roles. The Recruiting Operations, Analytics, and Reporting (ROAR) team enables our Talent Acquisition organization to distill vast amounts of information into meaningful insights.

Supporting this critical task will be a Business Intelligence Engineer, who will hone our Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) process and continue to develop the reporting that will be used by leaders in Recruiting, HR, Finance, and some of the largest businesses in the company.

Key Responsibilities:
· Analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to understand improvement opportunities.
· Support the launch of a new Business Intelligence platform and reinvent existing Excel-based reports
· Take a proactive approach to defining new metrics, reports, and dashboards.
· Develop recommendations based on analytical findings. Including defining new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve performance

The successful candidate will have significant experience analyzing data, identifying trends, extracting conclusions, and presenting findings in a simple and clear manner. They will thrive developing solutions to problems that can scale, while overcoming technical challenges. This role requires someone with:
· High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
· Superior verbal and written communications skills; particularly, the ability to deliver analysis in a clear and actionable format.
· A composed, poised and professional demeanor with a bias for action and ownership.
· Comfort taking loosely defined business questions and translating them into clearly defined technical/data specifications.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in an analytical field (e.g. Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance)
· 3+ years of work experience in business analysis and research
· Proficiency with SQL, Excel, and Tableau
