Position Title: Business Intelligence Engineer III
Location: Seattle, WA
Position Responsibilities:
Apply advanced analytical techniques to the identification and resolution of business problems both at the root cause level and in the broader context of the business. Select solutions that add value to the business area and that align with business objectives. Adopt best practices in reporting and analysis including data integrity, test design, analysis, validation and documentation. Utilize database technologies including SQL, ETL, and Oracle to design, develop, and evaluate highly innovative business intelligence tools and automated reports. Perform statistical analysis, including clustering, cross-session and panel data regression using R, SAS, STATA, and SPSS. Write high quality code to retrieve and analyze data. Identify the best data resources. Mentor junior business intelligence engineers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Position Requirements:
Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field and two years of experience in the job offered or as a Data Engineer, Data Miner, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and two years of experience. Two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation must involve: demonstrated knowledge of SQL, ETL or Oracle; experience with predictive modeling, data clustering, hypothesis testing and regression tress (CART), data mining, and optimization techniques; experience processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources; statistical analysis; and developing automated reporting.
