In Fast Track, we are responsible for ensuring our systems are executing effectively to deliver more products to more customers more quickly. As our systems become more sophisticated, the number of things that can go wrong increases, and understanding the intricacies of our supply chain becomes more complicated. The Fast Track team is seeking a talented, scrappy, and driven Business Intelligence Engineer to leverage data to help us continue raising the bar on Amazon's customer experience. As a Business Intelligence Engineer within Fast Track, you will become the expert on understanding and explaining Amazon's best-in-class supply chain systems and. It will be your job to identify defects and to drive solutions through data. This role is a highly visible and critical position within Amazon, requiring regular updates to executives across the company.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

In this role, you will:
· Monitor global demand and supply chain performance for all of Amazon.com
· Data mining and analysis to uncover trends and correlations to develop insights that can materially improve our decisions.
· Use data to develop new statistical models to improve our ability to synthesize and extract insights from large volumes of data.
· Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations.
· Develop and apply sophisticated quantitative and qualitative analysis to produce actionable insights
· Evolve Amazon's understanding of customer behavior by developing new metrics around market demand
· Work closely with business intelligence teams to build scalable data architectures
· Conduct ad hoc deep-dives to diagnose and address performance defects · Develop predictive tools and responsive workflows to proactively identify defects within Amazon's supply chain operations
· Exercise judgment in prioritizing between competing initiatives
· Provide clear direction and relevant communication regarding business performance with hundreds of colleagues across different functions, regions, and levels of the company
· Share best practices across and train global stakeholder groups, through both one-on-one interactions and scalable systems
