DESCRIPTION
The Kindle Content Risk Management team is looking for a highly driven, customer-obsessed Business Intelligence Engineer who will be responsible for supporting strategic, risk mitigation programs. The Business Intelligence Engineer will be responsible for complex analysis using multiple data sources while also understanding the operational, financial, and technical aspects of the programs they are supporting and the associated risk profiles they represent. You'll analyze large amounts of data, discover and solve real world problems, build metrics and business cases around key Kindle projects and, most of all, be an integral part of creating a better customer experience.
Desired profile
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· BA/ BS Required, preferably in an analytical field - e.g. Computer Science, Economics, Operations, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent experience.
· Strong proficiency at querying relational databases, primarily using SQL
· Strong ability writing code and scripting at a maximum run time efficiency
· Ability to coach and train other on SQL
· Ability working in a large data environment
· Minimum 3 years of analysis experience required in data science, business analytics, business intelligence (BI), or comparable experience in other big data environments.
