Over the past 20 years, Amazon has reinvented on behalf of the consumer and has become the largest internet retailer and marketplace in the world with over $74 billion in revenue globally. In 2016, Amazon reinvented on behalf of business customer and launched Amazon Business in Europe with the vision to build the largest and most innovative Business-to-Business (B2B) marketplace in the world. To realize this vision we are looking for a talented Business Intelligence Engineer to help us understand our Sellers and improve and automate Business Seller recommendations. The candidate should have with a strong background in ETL, data warehousing and interest in data mining, statistical modeling, linking data to key business trends, and data engineering. This Business Intelligence Engineer will design and develop ETLs and statistical models. They will analyze data trends to understand behavior and key insights into current performance and will recommended targeted improvements. They will have an opportunity to work with big data and emerging technologies like Redshift, EMR and Spark. They will also join a new and fast growing team within Amazon and have the chance to shape Amazon Business from the ground up.

A successful candidate will be able to speak the language of business and technical teams, taking business requirements and developing solutions to understand business impact. Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor degree or higher in an analytical area such as Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or similar.
· 5+ years of relevant employment experience.
· 3+ years in with Advanced SQL (analytical functions), ETL, Data Warehousing.
· Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL and reporting/analytic tools and environments, and data structures.
· Advanced data analysis and statistical skills in SAS/R, Excel, and similar statistical packages to access and transform data into insights.
· Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
