DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a smart, motivated Associate Corporate Counsel attorney to provide legal support for Amazon's growing consumer and retail businesses. You'll be an integral part of the business team you support, giving input on business and strategy in addition to providing legal counsel on regulatory matters and commercial deals, resolving issues that arise in commercial relationships, and handling pre-litigation disputes and inquiries. You will develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and you will build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly. You will help your business team launch new features and product categories.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of legal experience as a practicing attorney (with at least two years at a law firm).

Juris Doctor and membership in good standing in at least one state bar is required.
