We are looking for an exceptional lawyer fluent in German and English to support our compliance programs for our rapidly growing international retail business. You will be responsible for providing sound and pragmatic advice, solving complex problems and managing regulatory risks. In particular, you will develop strategies for handling legal and product compliance issues in creative, business-centric ways, working with a team of product compliance specialists to build and manage programs and processes that identify gaps, address risk, and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly and delight our customers.

The position is based out of Amazon's EU headquarters in the vibrant city of Luxembourg. Amazon will provide full relocation assistance for this position. The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a diverse and multicultural country located in the heart of Europe, bordered by France, Belgium and Germany, with a total population of around half a million. Luxembourg has Luxembourgish, French and German as national languages, with English spoken by the many expatriates and most locals. Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Outstanding EU academic qualification

At least 3 years post-qualification legal experience in one of the top law firms or in a law department of a global company

Knowledge of product compliance regulations

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in German and English
