Amazon’s growing Advertising Sales Program is looking for Associate Account Executives (AAE) to drive the success and continued growth of Amazon Advertising. This role is for ambitious candidates who are passionate about selling and looking to launch their career in Advertising sales with The ideal candidate has a history of achieving goals and exceeding deliverables. S/he is a strong analytical thinker and problem solver who thrives in fast-paced dynamic environments. S/he is a fast learner, excellent presenter, strong communicator, effective listener and project manager who is able to balance multiple and often conflicting priorities. The ability to manage a valuable prospect list is vital; candidates must be comfortable prospecting, cold-calling, and negotiating via phone on both transactional and more strategic branding-based deals. Amazon Advertising, is recruiting for their Associate Account Executive (AAE) program, starting on July 12, 2021. Through the course of this highly visible 22 week sales training program, AAEs will learn about the digital advertising industry, Amazon’s suite of advertising products and how they can help clients achieve strategic goals. AAEs receive training and coaching from some of the most innovative minds in the industry, develop Amazon business acumen and will be responsible for sales deliverables. Meet all program deliverables on time, including training sessions, inputs, projects, testing and presenting
Utilize Sales CRM tools to track all pertinent account information and sales progress
Deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction for our clients
Analyze sales/metrics data from your territory to help evolve your strategy
Prioritize and deliver timely, high quality work
Network with and educate key prospects and customer contacts
Attain and weekly sales activity goals and accurately update the goal tracking system
Complete all Leadership Principle Project milestones on time
Successfully complete all knowledge tests and writing assignments on time
Successfully complete all presentation and salesmanship testing on time
Improve the performance and attain revenue for your assigned book of clients
Suggest process improvements and assist internal partners to drive them to completion
Learn to Initiate prospecting and lead generation activities
Responsibility after the program:
Continue education by completing additional presentation and salesmanship testing
Provide support and feedback to all future AAE classes
Prospect, penetrate and create new relationships with clients.
Drive deals to closure in a new business environment.
Retain and grow revenue from existing advertisers.


Sales certificate or Sales focused degree and/or coursework
Cold calling / Prospecting experience
Work experience in the sales field
Excellent oral and written communication and ability to influence internally and externally
An ability to analyze quantitatively, and problem-solve
Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment

Desired profile


Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of 1-3 years of work experience, including internships or other leadership experience in a professional comparable environment
Ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities at the same time
Ability to deal with ambiguity, conduct autonomous research and discover solutions independently
