DESCRIPTION

Amazon's HRIS team is looking for a bright and motivated Kronos Programmer Analyst with specific expertise in Time & Attendance processes. This position will be responsible for leading the design and development of custom interfaces, programs, and reports within the Kronos application suite.

Core activities will include gathering and defining requirements, gap analysis, design, development and support across multiple geographies for Kronos enhancements. Position requires strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work with business functional users globally to comprehend business requirements for system development and modifications.

Job Responsibilities:
Interact with business customers to understand and document their business processes and requirements.
Perform gap analysis to determine our Kronos suite's system configuration and development changes.
Create detailed functional and technical design documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents and implementation documentation as necessary.
Develop scalable and efficient interfaces, custom reports, and other programs needed to solve business requirements
Enforce SDLC process so that timely and quality delivery is achieved

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· A minimum three years of experience working with Kronos, Workbrain, PeopleSoft Time and Labor or other Time and Attendance software
· Experience in HR or Payroll systems design, development, and support
· Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, RDL, and/or SSRS
· Experience with Kronos Workforce Integration Manager (WIM) or similar data integration tool
· Proven ability to apply best practices to the software development lifecycle based on experiences with a number of agile and blended approaches, as well as effective coordination of implementations across teams using very different approaches.
· Must have very strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications with an emphasis toward highly available and scalable global solutions.
· Strong communication skills with diverse customers and audiences, across multiple disciplines and teams.
