DESCRIPTION

The Amazon Advertising Platform (AAP) team is investing in its Worldwide Online Display Advertising business to achieve the goal of becoming the leading solution for advertisers. To reach this goal, the team are looking for Vertical Analysts who will be responsible for owning key advertiser verticals to ensure we are delivering best in class campaign performance, identifying new or improved targeting strategies, being a recognized expert in their particular vertical and supporting demand enablement by creating actionable insights for both Managed Service and Self Service customers.
In this role you will have the responsibility of driving YoY improvements across your specific vertical, measured by gains in campaign performance and revenue growth. The role will have three core responsibilities; i) on-board, train and support internal stakeholders on AAP and programmatic. ii) leverage AAP tools and features, to deliver to customer advertising goals and ii) monitor campaign performance and influence the allocation of advertising budgets to AAP via face to face engagement with internal, and if required external, stakeholders. The Vertical Analyst will constantly evaluate tools and strategies to identify areas for improvement and work with partner teams to develop scalable solutions.
Specific Responsibilities include:
· On-board, train and support internal stakeholders in managing programmatic campaigns.
· Ensure that advertising campaigns consistently meet or exceed advertiser goals or platform benchmarks.
· Create blueprints for achieving success via the ad platform that can be scaled to Managed and Self-Service customers.
· Develop a deep understanding of a specific advertiser vertical within the digital display advertising industry, AAP's positioning within this industry and what our customers want from our campaign management platform.
· Identify gaps in addressing advertiser spend and test solutions to fill these gaps to secure revenue growth.
· Work closely with customer facing teams to influence outreach strategies and behavior.
Success Indicators:
· Meeting and exceeding campaign success metrics; advertiser goals and benchmarks.
· Being regarded as a campaign platform specialist and valued resource for stakeholders.
· Creation and adoption of actionable insights, measured by usage in sales pitches, GTM material and customer meetings.
· Vertical revenue growth, increase in average campaign value, average renewal and attach rates.

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years of experience in online advertising and ad technologies.
· Experience working with digital advertising platforms, campaign execution and optimization strategies.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Strong project management and organizational skills.
· Strong verbal and written communication abilities: must effectively communicate with technical and non-technical people.
· Bachelor's Degree
