DESCRIPTION

Amazon Business SMB Account Managers are responsible for initiating and developing strong relationships with small and medium business customers ($25-250M in annual revenue and public sector). They balance their time between acquiring new business customers and growing share of wallet, by assisting existing customers in enabling features on their business account to best suit their specific needs. Account Managers work closely with customers to understand their procurement requirements (typically across procurement, finance and IT functions) and then work with internal Amazon teams (e.g. retail, 3P, integrations teams, PMs, lending team) to determine the best solution to address the business needs. Account Managers have strong sales and communication skills that help to deliver quantitative and qualitative results.
The responsibilities include:
· Initiate prospecting and lead generation activities
· Assisting customers with account setup and present registered customers with Amazon Business account tours
· Meet and exceed input and output targets for feature adoption, user expansion and revenue
· Educating and helping implement key AB features with customers
· Track and relay customer needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams including Product Management, Technical and Category Management teams
· Master internal tools (i.e. SalesForce)
· Independently work on projects and present meaningful results to the leadership team

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals
· Proven ability to influence others
· Strong ownership, bias for action and willingness to role-up your sleeves
· Active listener and effective communicator
· Expert use of MS Office Suite, CRMs (e.g. Salesforce.com) and other systems
· Knowledge of procurement and source to pay methods at small and medium businesses

Desired profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 2+ years proven inside sales experience, B2B industry preferred
· BA/BS degree
· Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
