Purpose:

Amadeus North America Learning Services, within Operations, is tasked with delivering online and offline learning solutions to internal and external customers while advancing the use of our online university amongst these audiences. Currently, 99% of training completed in our market is done online (self-paced and instructor-led virtual). We are a customer-focused organization, interface with every part of Amadeus that touches the customer, and tirelessly seek more valuable ways to provide engaging learning solutions that help our customers work more productively, as well as grow their business and satisfaction with our brand.

As an intern with Learning Services, you will work closely with the Amadeus e-University product owner and the Learning Solutions Development and Delivery teams. You will be exposed to all of the departments with whom we collaborate to be successful, which are: Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, HR and any other business partners that feed into the overall strategy that governs how we want to serve our customers.

You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects related to website evolution, adoption, communications, and user experience. Your learning is limited only by your energy and inquisitiveness.

Job Duities:

· Assist Learning Solutions Design team leader with editing tasks (i.e., branding consistency, use of standards, grammar)
· Assist Learning Solutions Delivery team leader with course scheduling and updating website calendar
· Assist Learning Solutions Design team leader with promotion of Learning Services initiatives, contests, and newsletters via Social Media channels and internal communications channels
· Support the Amadeus e-University Usability Study team with the analysis, implementation and testing of innovative enhancements to Amadeus e-University and the evolution of a global learning platform

Education:

Undergraduate degree preferred.

Related Work Experience:
• Working knowledge of electronic publishing and Web development tools (i.e., HTML, XML, Adobe InDesign, Dreamweaver) and ability to design information.
• Working knowledge of graphics editing tool (i.e., Adobe Photoshop, TechSmith SnagIt)
• Working knowledge of desktop publishing tools (i.e., Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat)
• Proficiency in Social Media channels.
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems and Learning Management Systems a plus.
• Communication – Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Write clear and well-structured project documentation.
• Planning and organization – Ability to prioritize and plan activities required to achieve results. Create timelines inclusive of all work units involved in projects.
• Goal oriented and action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined.
• Leadership potential – Possess business acumen.

Skills:

Computing: MS Office

Languages: English preferred, Spanish a plus

Specific Knowledge: Instructional design, e-learning design, mobile learning, social media

Must be able to work in the Miami Office
