Purpose of the role

Be the link between the Management and the technical groups involved in a project. Lead and coordinate technical streams assigned as part of Airline IT projects. Ensure proper communication regarding risks, planning, scope, budget and timeline

Main Responsibilities:

Project Coordination

Be able to co-ordinate project management activities from initiation to its implementation. More specifically (but not exclusively):

• Conception Phase - Gathers all information related to the project and analyze the gaps required to be addressed

o Help the technical team to define the scope and requirements, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)

o Help to identify dependencies, risk and issues

o Define the plan according to the WBS

o Define communication and reporting management

• Development Phase - Engage the team, sponsors and all stakeholders to meet deliverables, schedule and cost

o Facilitate successful delivery of the solutions

o Work with Solution Architect to identify and solve issues and mitigate risks

o Maintain control and Monitor the plan according to the WBS

o Maintain and monitor budget, Schedule and Scope

o Manage risks and issues as appropriate

o Ensure proper communication and reporting (e.g. project status, Schedule, Scope and Cost deviation, Escalate all risks and issues as appropriate)

• Project Closure

o Define and execute project exit criteria

o Manage hand over when applicable

• Tooling

o Promote project tolling usage with R&D

o Contribute to Project Management community

Define the plan according to the WBS

Define communication and reporting management


• University degree in Engineering or related field

• Project Management trainings

• Project Management Certifications (not mandatory)

Relevant Work Experience

Proven project Management experience, knowledge of waterfall and Agile methodology

• Good communication both writing and oral

• Technical competencies as developer or business analyst are considered as a plus

Business Understanding

• IT for Airports and Airline industry (desirable)

• Project Management (essential)


Office suite, Microsoft Project, Jira (or other Agile tool)
