Business role

The Automation Engineer will specialize in designing, building, and maintaining automation scripts using C# .Net (Visual Studio IDE).
This will entail understandingautomation requirements from different Navitaire teams and providing a solution using existing Navitaire Automation Tools/Solutions or other technologies available. This position will also require updating automation scripts to implement latest automated testing strategies to improve overall stability and performance of automated test executions.

Main responsibilities

· Workwith the Navitaire Shared Services team in designing and building different automation solutions for Navitaire.
· Successfully execute automation scripts, resolve issues found during execution, and implement improvements.
· Effectively share lessons learned in building and maintaining automation solutions to members of the team.
· Collaborate with and train Developers and Quality Assurance teams in understanding Navitaire's automation requirements and their implementation in automation solutions.
· Work with the Configuration Management teamto ensure we have the right environments, infrastructure, and data refresh strategies in place.

Qualifications

· Candidate must possess a University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar discipline.
· Knowledgeable with Automation script development using C#
· A Good understanding on the automation industry trend.
· Familiar with different automation frameworks that can be used for different applications and platforms.
· Skilled in utilizingautomation frameworks like MS UI Automation, Selenium WebDriver, Xamarin.UITest.
· Development experience on any other Automation Framework.
· Knowledge on the CI/CD process is a plus.
· Experience with TFS, Powershell and Xamarin is a plus.
