Multi-site internship: Gamification of JIRA

Team Description:

The candidate will be part of the Airline R&D team in charge of the User Interface for Amadeus Altea Reservation Desktop Web (ARD Web) product.

The ARD Web product is a Web-based booking solution for airlines helpdesk (call centers). It is fully Ajax based and offers a wide range of functionalities to manage air reservations.

Main Responsibilities:

The intern will help the teamfor integrating within JIRA and through a standalone webapp some tools to encourage and promote user (developers) participation, a-la stackoverflow.

This intern will participate in following activities:

· Analyzing the current JIRA Pull Request process
· Make a proposition of a point gamification system using JIRA APIs based on user contributions
· requirements
· functional proposition
· technical proposition
· Iterative implementation of the solution
· Part of the requirements are also:
· Reporting and leaderboard
· Collecting metrics before/after to fine-tune the process and evaluate efficiency
· The development process will follow a simplified Agile methodology

Requirements:

· Technical skills (known or fast learner)
· standard HTML/Javascript/CSS
· Nodejs or Python,REST API, json, Angular4, Java
· No SQL Database (Mongo DB or other)
· Innovative mind
· Analytical and conceptual thinking
· Interested by web design from a usability standpoint
· Fluent in English

International
The internship can be multi-site, shared between our site in Nice, and one or our other development sites in either London (UK), Bag-Homburg (Germany) or Bangalore (India), depending on the candidate preferences.
