Amadeus Selling Platform Connect is one of them sold to travel agents… and this all around the world.
Our team is committed to developing customization frameworks through innovative technologies, to allow each travel agent to feel he's using an application fitting his specific needs. The team is small and practices agile development, so you'll be an important contributor when achieving your mission.

Purpose of the internship

Selling Platform Connect is a web application that 500 000 travel agents will use for their day to day work. Travel agents are able to define some scripts with user interactions called Smart Flows for executing repetitive tasks and enhance travel agent productivity. The Smart Flows can be distributed by our commercial organizations through the Amadeus App Store, but today the Smart Flows are not localized which limits their distribution worldwide.

Your goal is to let the Smart Flow administrator localize and translate Smart Flows.

Instead of “one-language” Smart Flows, you will design a way for administrator to define localized Smart Flows in different languages by enhancing the existing Smart Flow editor and you will design a way for administrator to translate Smart Flows from one language to another by displaying Smart Flows screens while translating them.

As current Smart Flows can reach 100KB size, translating them into multiple languages may have an impact on the Smart Flow storage solution. When designing the localized Smart Flows, you will have a focus on the performance aspects of the solution.

Main responsibilities:

Your mission is to enhance the current Smart Flow editor, Smart Flow engine and the storage of Smart Flows!

• You will analyze how the existing Smart Flow editor, engine and storage work

• You will propose a functional and technical solution to localize and translate Smart Flows with particular focus on performances

• Based on this study, you will build a prototype, fully integrated into Selling Platform Connect
