We're looking for an enthusiastic Python Software Development Engineer to join the Product Engineering group.

The Application Lifecycles, Platforms & Test Systems department provides to Amadeus Product Engineering groups the tools and support for managing their applications from code design (Non-Functional requirements) to product deployment, via test systems and performance testing.

In this scope, the mission of the team in London is to provide tools for automating the building & releasing process for Online Service Requests (OSR) and tool to track the Change Control Board (CCB) approvals.

Main Responsibilities:

· Participate in design and development of tools used by Research & Development (R&D) and Operational teams within Amadeus.
· Ensure operability, stability and security of the production infrastructure, systems and applications.
· Enforce awareness of operability concepts and best practices within R&D.
· Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies of tools for the automation of the creation of testing environments, such as the Software Workbench.
· Participate to the on-call roster for support and maintenance of these tools.

Requirements
You will have:

· Degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
· Python Language experience – JavaScript and Templates are desirable
· Django web framework is desirable
· Distributed environment, Open Source technologies, Relational database management system or SQL
· Demonstrable work experience gained within the development environment or equivalent.
· In-depth knowledge of relevant technologies and functional area
· Knowledge of OBE development, configuration, and deployment would be an advantage
· Knowledge of ACS is a plus.
· Good understanding of the Web Development Process
· Good overview and understanding of the Amadeus Change Management Process
