I. Summary:

Responsible for ensuring the successful continued operation of all installed computer hardware and software, including PC’s, VCD’s, servers, high profile displays, networking, databases, and operating systems in a highly visible environment on a variety of systems. All duties as assigned and documented are expected to be completed.

II. JobDuties:

· Day to day support of airlines and airport
· Perform weekly system backups for EASE, CUSS, FIDS, and AODB/ESB Systems
· Perform System (EASE/FIDS/CUSS/ESB) Updates and Workstation Windows® Updates monthly or as released (if directed)
· Preventative maintenance, cleaning displays, clients and other related hardware.
· Daily walk throughs, both Virtual and Physical, of both Main and South Terminals to visually check kiosks and displays are operational, and checking clients, displays and equipments to see if they require cleaning and are functioning correctly. Virtual walkthrough to be completed on all three (3) ABIA environments - DEV/TEST/PROD.
· Daily system checks of EASE server/clients, CUSS kiosks, IMS Server, airline feeds, AODB generated days, counter alllocation generated days, Bag Makeup assignments, verify FIDS at Hilton, Hyat, Bark & Zoom, and Austin Convention Center are working, and verify AODB is only retaining a years worth of data.
· Checking shift reports, from previous shift, for hand off of tasks and issues.
· Complete a shift report and email out at the end of each shift. Shift report includes all calls received on support phone or word of mouth. Each call must be entered into Win@proach Ticketing System, the ABIA Ticketing System (HEAT), and both ticket numbers are to be included with each task or issue in shift report.

III. Education:

Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

VI. Skills and Requirements:

Computing:

· Knowledge of PC and Server operating systems
· Desired manufacture certifications: Dell, Microsoft, Cisco
· Must be able to diagnose and solve complex technical problems in a multi-tier computer system

Specific Knowledge:

· Must have excellent communication skills
· Must have excellent organizational skills and pay great attention to details.
· Must be able to manage your time, and be able to work multiple issues at the same time.
· Must have the ability to lift 60lbs and climb a ladder.
· Must have the ability to work independently and with a team
· Must have valid driver’s license and possess a vehicle for service calls.
· Must be able to pass airport security screening and maintain an airport badge.
· Must be able to work a flexible shift which includes working day and night shifts, along with weekends and holidays

Language Skills:

· Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
