Summary of the role

A key part of Navitaire’s business strategy is to migrate existing and introducing new Cloud based solutions. The Technical Product Owner/Business Analyst is responsible for managing the product backlog and working with engineering and the Cloud Leadership team to identify, prioritize and document actionable Product Backlog items. The Product Owner must be able gather requirements from all stakeholders including customers, Operations, Security and Navitaire Business stakeholders.

Main responsibilities

1.Lead the team through the launch of Cloud production using the Agile Scrum methodologies
2.Lead grooming and maturation of technical user stories insuring that clear acceptance criteria are documented
3.Assist in the planning and delivery of the Navitaire Cloud Options that meet customers, Marketplace and Regulatory demands
4.Develop crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product architecture for each product and application
5.Manage prioritization balancing value, timelines and dependencies
6.Collaborate with all other Navitaire and Amadeus departments including other product teams, development, operations, marketing, Account Management

Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a technical discipline
•3+ Years in the software industry, delivering solutions as part of a software development or technical product management team
•Working experience with Agile Methodologies to deliver project on tight deadlines
•Familiarity with cloud and back end application infrastructure
•Demonstrated capabilities to understand cloud technologies spanning compute, storage and networking
•Experience in delivering quality technology product in a highly dynamic environment.
•Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts

Highly Desired:
•Experience with bringing technical Product to market and through a New Product Entry process in coordination with other company stakeholders
•Experience defining and delivering cloud technology environment, including micros services, working with 3rd party Cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure)
•Experience with DEVOPS including Telemetry, Security and CI/CD
