Our range of digital and hardware products, from payment systems and check-in kiosks to baggage reconciliation solutions, help our clients to streamline their operations and maximize revenues.

Our London Heathrow office plays a key role within Airport IT, which connects over 600 professionals globally.

The Vendor Management team is responsible for building strategic partnerships with various suppliers, contract negotiations, and ongoing business development for Airport IT globally. We are a small, yet vibrant, dynamic and highly-motivated team, based across London and Madrid, passionate about shaping the world of travel!

Purpose of the role

This internship is packed with diverse activities, aimed at developing both your technical skills and business knowledge. You will be exposed to a growing and constantly evolving business within an extremely dynamic environment. Our aim is to drive service excellence, by partnering with the right providers to assist in delivering optimal solutions to our clients.

This role will require you to assess and measure the value created by the new and existing partners and vendors. You will have the opportunity to be involved in the development, management and control over vendor contracts, ensuring performance for the efficient delivery of contracted products and services. Moreover, you will get valuable insights into innovations and future trends of wider aviation and travel industries.

Key Accountabilities

Building and developing your skills and knowledge in a variety of disciplines, including:

· Sourcing, contracting and assessing vendors and partners of Amadeus Airport IT
· Analyzing data to review partner performance and propose potential improvements of internal processes
Analyzing requirements and business needs of internal and external stakeholders and transforming them into action items
· Assist with the maintenance of contract records management using contracts management databases and SharePoint sites, ensuring all contracts are approved, scanned, uploaded and filed in timely manner.
· Continuously improving the work of the Vendor Management team by developing more efficient workflow concepts and use cases for agile methods

This is a 12 to 18months internship starting in December
