Following consistent double-digit growth in the North American Region, we are now looking at reinforcing our East coast team by recruiting a talented a Business Analyst & Financial Controller based in our offices in the Metropolitan Detroit area (Michigan, USA).
You will have twofold role:
- As a Business Partner, support the local management of our companies based in East coast
- Be the main contact of the International Finance Team (based in the Group Headquarters in Paris)
You will report directly to the head of finance, you will work closely with the locale accounting and administrative teams to collect information, analyze past and present financial data of organization and estimates future revenues and expenditures, applying principles of finance.
You will achieve those roles by:
- Prepare operational report and analysis to support operations using disparate data sources
- Analyze financial information to identify underlying business drivers
- Provide business partners with ongoing financial insight into operational performance
- Produce weekly, monthly & quarterly reports
- Analyze and monitor key performance indicators (KPI’s)
- Participate to the annual planning process as well as to ongoing forecasting process
- Support the implementation of new ERP system
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- High level of intellectual curiosity
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English and French.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products. Experience with NetSuite products a plus
- Self-driven individual with motivation to grow and excel with a dynamic and face paced team environment
Your profile:
A Graduate from a Business School/IAE, you have a first successful experience in audit or controlling (2-3 years experiences including trainings and apprenticeships). You are now looking for a challenging but rewarded position in international environment.
You have already developed a solid basis in controlling and reporting and you are proactive and great with number and expert in spreadsheets (Vlookup, Pivot). You have a critical thinking mindset and a facility with explaining financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders. You enjoy putting structures in place, supporting teams and are interested in an environment where you can leave a mark.
Last but not definitely not least you are open minded, curious, and dependable with a smiling personality.
