PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :
The VIE will report to the Ottawa LRV maintenance Project Sourcing Manager and participate to the following items :
- Support NAM Service project
- Operational sourcing support on negociation
- Animate and follow
- up project saving Plan and sourcing KPI
As maintenance sourcing representative, work closely with internal partners in order to insure the TCO approach.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead project sourcing activities (conformity to cost management, planning, etc.);
- Interface actively with central and local Commodity Managers/Buyers to ensure maintenance requirements are taken into account;
- Actively participate to local supplier panel elaboration to fulfill localization contraints established during the tender stage;
- Conduct Request for Quotation (RFQ) with global and local suppliers;
- Actively participate to DFQ cycle;
- Challenge and benchmark supplier panel for optimum TCO;
- Follow-up Project Sourcing KPI;
- Ensure global Quality, Cost, Delivery targets achievement;
- Effective teamwork with internal customers and stakeholders in problem solving.
CANDIDATE'S PROFILE :
- Bachelor Degree in Sourcing/Procurement
- 1-3 years experience through internship or young graduate in Sourcing
- Previous experience in an industrial environment preferred
- Team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Fluent in English
