Department Description & Job Purpose
The working student position offers a unique opportunity for passionate individuals seeking to embark on a career in IT consulting. By joining the Technology & Innovation pillar of Allianz Consulting, aspiring IT professionals will have the chance to work alongside seasoned consultants, gaining hands-on experience in addressing a diverse range of projects: from one of the industry’s largest IT infrastructure projects that includes data centers, networking and security, to application platforms that span from workplace services to digital interaction. This opportunity is based in the city of Munich, Germany, providing an enriching environment for professional growth and development in the field of IT consulting

Key responsibilities 

• Support the team on internal and/or client projects with a focus on IT transformation, digital innovation, Software Testing & Quality Assurance and IT program / project management  
• Work on assignments under the guidance of an Engagement Manager or team member, being mindful of deadlines and deliverables, troubleshooting problems, and all other relevant aspects of the assignments  
• Assist the team in the ideation process within areas needing concrete measures for implementation and improvements 
• Contribute to internal initiatives within Allianz Consulting, including knowledge sharing, and team events organization 

Key requirements

• Enrollment in a German University (for working student positions).
• Student status throughout the duration of the contract for working student roles.  
• Basic understanding of AI frameworks and the ability to utilize AI tools in everyday tasks. Interest in supporting clients in adopting AI for successful business transformation.
• Previous experience / knowledge in Quality Assurance, Test Automation are desired 
• An affinity for solving problems and a pronounced capacity for analytical thinking  
• Your curiosity for or knowledge of insurance and financial services and project or change management tools and techniques  
• Previous experience in IT transformation & project management methodologies and best practices are desired 
• Prior understanding of tools like JIRA, Selenium, Tosca. UiPath is appreciated
• Your excellent command of English and high proficiency in German (C1)  
• You can start immediately and are interested in a working student position for 6 months- part time (16-20 h/week)
