Job description

Risk Management Specialist in the "Finance, Controlling, Risk" Department

 

What you do

·  Participate in the overall process of calculating the Capital Requirement according to the methodology of the Standard Formula established in the Solvency II directive by EIOPA, as well as related reporting to the Financial Supervision Commission, Allianz Group, and local management.
·  Control and analyze the risks to which insurance companies are exposed, as well as their solvency.
·  Prepare and provide reports, analyses, and plans to Management/Allianz Group regarding the level of capitalization of insurance companies, and propose actions to improve and optimize it.
·  Conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments of inherent risks, prepare sensitivity analyses, stress tests, and models for risk monitoring.
·  Participate in the development and monitoring of limits for relevant risks – investment, credit, and insurance.
·  As part of a key function team, contribute to meeting the requirements of the Solvency II directive – this involves close cooperation with other key functions regarding overall risk management inherent in the activity – e.g., Actuaries, Compliance, Accounting, Internal Audit, as well as Investments, Product Management, Underwriting, Reinsurance, Business Continuity.
·  Monitor operational risks and losses, as well as the effectiveness of the internal control system.
·  Document processes, activities, and controls in accordance with Solvency II requirements.

 

What you bring

·  Higher education in Economics or Mathematics with a financial/statistical focus;
·  Proficiency in English;
·  Computer literacy – proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, etc.);
·  Previous experience in any of the following areas will be considered an advantage: risk controlling and management, finance, actuarial science, investments, insurance, or reinsurance.
·  Analytical skills;
·  Communication skills;
·  Organizational skills.
