JOB PURPOSE/ROLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Search Engine Optimization:
Perform keyword research (i.e. Google Trends) and analyze competitor keywords to discover the phrases, and expand on the topics, most likely to bring in high volumes of qualified traffic.
Conduct routine content audits and implement best practices of organic optimization to help build ranking, online presence and traffic.
Use Google Analytics and other third-party tools (e.g. SEMRush, BuzzSumo, etc.) to help monitor, track, and gather metrics of key performance indicators (KPIs) to complement overall marketing and business objectives.
Manage the sitemap records, and submit those URLs on a regular basis to Google and Bing.
Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
Work with the team to develop and implement link building strategy.
Remain current on SEO content best practices and latest trends.

Content Management:
Execute the creation of landing pages and publish content on a to our consumer sites using the OneWeb CMS platform and WordPress, where applicable.
Identify gap ideations to build upon and expand content marketing initiatives to increase organic positioning, reach, site traffic, and revenue.
Manage of freelance/internal copywriters to coordinate the creation of content; including articles, product descriptions, videos, infographics, etc. and manage the trafficking of content to compliance for approval to oversee the fulfillment of the editorial calendar.
Editorial requirements include intermediate SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement. Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.
Understand best practices of social media channels, and identify content and tactics to share per platform. Collaborate with External Communications team to promote and align goals/objectives for content distribution (e.g. articles, infographics, video, etc.).
Build and develop monthly eNewsletter to promote content and remain top-of-mind with email recipients. Create email retention list and deployment through ESP (email service provider) Silverpop.
Collaborate across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives.
Keep pace with content marketing and design best practices and industry trends.
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Requirements
3+ year(s) of SEO content marketing experience with an emphasis across digital channels.
Proficient in Google Analytics, Google Trends, SEMRush, BuzzSumo and Silverpop
Strong skill in analyzing data, and assisting transforming metrics into actionable insights
Knowledgeable on industry trends and advancements to digital landscape
Experience creating content for the web and growing organic audience
Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it
Ability to analyze and present content and social performance
Project management skills and attention to detail
