Job Purpose/Role

Senior IT workplace service engineer monitor and maintain the endpoint computer, endpoint systems and user services within Allianz Technology Thailand. You could be installing and configuring endpoint computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solves technical and applications problems, either over remote or in person supporting. As Senior role, you’ll be key player as representative of Workplace Service teams to participate new project & supporting on challenge requirement according to Allianz

Key responsibilities/What you do

·  Continuous improvement on setup, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and ongoing usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software such as Windows / MacOS setup, application & patch deployment, virus/malware/security protection and vulnerability management.
·  Stock management on computer (Desktop/Laptop/Software) and peripheral equipment plan
·  Coordinate and execute an assigned project activities to ensure timely completion.
·  Plan, manage and forecast to maintain stock & inventory of IT-related assets and IT asset lifecycle management.
·  Provide  suggestion / technical support for PCs and related systems using Windows 10 (MacOS would be an advantage)

 

Key requirement /What you bring

·  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Engineer, or related fields.
·  Experienced or open for learning IT endpoint operation management.
·  Good service mind, sense of ownership, character of explorer and can-do attitude.
·  Ability to flexible working hour for projects or supporting tasks (On call standby & support in extended service hours)
·  ITIL foundation certificate/training course/experienced is an advantage.
·  Comfortable working independently, while also able to work in a team environment
·  At least 3-10 years of experience in IT Support / Digital workplace service or relate fields.
·  Experiences in user’s endpoint management & collaboration service supporting (i.e. O365, Workspace, MFA) would be an advantage.
·  Experiences in participate or drive the implementation project / Endpoint service & operation management.
·  Experience in IT Asset / stock management is an advantage
·  Experience with ‘Service Now’ or other IT Service ticketing system.
·  Ability to flexible working hour for projects or supporting tasks (On call standby & support in extended service hours)

·  Able to communicate in English.
·  Ability to understand complex technical tasks, and propose solutions to challenges
·  Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
·  Strong aptitude and desire to learn new technologies and tools
·  Project management certification advantageous. PMP / PRINCE II / ITIL certification is a plus
·  Ability to travel Internationally is a plus
·  Knowledges to explore the solution and support, but not limited to, Windows hardware & desktop environment, Active directory, Microsoft O365 collaboration products or WebEx and mobility working systems. MacOS supporting experiences is an advantage.
·  Able to communicate in English.
