What you do
You'll contribute to the achievement of profitable and sustainable growth in the framework of Allianz Trade's Surety & Guarantee strategy, including segregation of underwriting duties through qualitative and quantitative analysis of Surety & Guarantee risks.
You'll be required to support the management and underwriting of the Surety & Guarantee portfolio, identifying opportunities to increase business and support the management of larger and more sensitive risks.
You'll contribute to the ongoing risk plans, including:
- Analysing the position of each individual large & sensitive risk in accordance with the Allianz Trade group reporting requirements.
- Identifying and proposing the appropriate risk strategy.
- Overseeing the completion of monthly Sensitive Risk Report
- Representing Surety & Guarantee at internal Risk Committees
- Providing analysis of risk implications of new areas and sector developments.
- Preparing & review risk reports.
- Participating in underwriting decisions in accordance with the Allianz Trade Group Surety & Guarantee Authority Matrix.

- A demonstrated understanding of Surety & Guarantee business including the specific dynamic of business with an emphasis on risk management.
- An ability to build networks with close contacts to market players and opinion leaders
- An in-depth understanding of contractual situations
- Demonstrated innovative thinking in proposal risk solutions
- An ability to interact with all levels, internally & externally
- An ability to convince stakeholders in negotiations
- An ability to understand complex business situations from a Surety & Guarantee risk perspective & the commercial implications
- The skill to build long-term relationships in a changing and challenging business environment.
