We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accounts Technician to join the business on a 12 Month FTC

This role is based in our Guildford Office. This is a Hybrid role with expectations of being on site 2 to 3 days per week, please note that occasional travel may be required.
Salary Information
Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.
About You
- Deep Financial Control Expertise: You'll bring comprehensive knowledge of payments and collections at subledger level, providing critical insights that ensure our transformation program delivers accurate and relevant outcomes for the finance function.
- Sharp Eye for Detail: You're naturally data-driven with an exceptional ability to spot the difference between quality financial data and errors – your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our financial systems.
- Quality Assurance Mindset: You'll take ownership of verifying data quality and accuracy from a financial control perspective, conducting thorough reviews and testing to ensure everything meets our exacting standards.
- Requirements Gathering Skills: You'll work closely with the Finance BAU team to define and refine requirements, ensuring our transformation initiatives align perfectly with operational needs and business objectives.
- Clear Communication: You'll keep stakeholders informed and engaged, translating complex financial concepts into clear updates and addressing concerns with confidence and clarity.
- Risk Awareness: You'll proactively identify potential risks to the ledger and finance processes, recommending practical mitigation strategies that protect our financial integrity.
- Solution Design Contribution: You'll have the opportunity to shape finance solutions from the ground up, offering expert advice on feasibility and impact to ensure our approaches are both technically sound and fit for purpose.
- Training & Mentoring Ability: You'll support and develop team members, helping them navigate complex financial processes and potentially creating training materials that leave a lasting impact.
- Continuous Improvement Drive: You'll bring fresh ideas and innovations to optimize our processes, always looking for ways to enhance how we work and deliver better outcomes.
- Evaluation & Feedback Skills: You'll provide valuable feedback on project progress, helping us assess whether we're meeting our objectives and maintaining the high standards we set for ourselves.
Essential Skills
- Part-Qualified (ACCA, CIMA) or AAT
- Extensive Finance experience
- SAP experience
- Project / transformation experience
- Project management experience
