About the Job:

We are seeking an experienced SAP HCM Solution Architect to lead the design, governance and roadmap of our HR Core architecture, covering Payroll, Time and Pension services.

 

 

What You Do:

  • Own and design the end-to-end SAP HCM architecture across Payroll, Time, Org Management, and integrations.
  • Lead fit-gap analyses, define high-level and detailed solution designs, and ensure architectural consistency.
  • Drive integration design between SAP HCM, SuccessFactors EC, external payroll partners, and internal systems.
  • Define and govern interface patterns (CPI, API, IDoc, RFC) and ensure robust monitoring and error handling.
  • Ensure security-by-design, GDPR compliance, data protection, and audit readiness.
  • Develop and maintain architecture roadmaps, support transformation programs and modernization strategies.
  • Facilitate workshops with business, challenge requirements, and steer teams towards optimal solutions.
  • Collaborate with Basis, Security, Enterprise Architecture, and cross-functional product teams.
  • Provide technical leadership to developers and ensure adherence to standards.

 

 

What You Bring:

- Extensive experience as a Solution Architect in SAP HCM, ideally in large-scale, multinational environments.

- Strong understanding of Payroll (DE/CH/AT), Time Management, and integration architectures.

- Hands-on knowledge of S/4HANA HCM (H4S4), HANA DB, Fiori, and HR modernization trends.

- Expertise in CPI, API-led design, interface governance, and secure integration concepts.

- Strong stakeholder management, excellent communication, and decision-making skills.

- Ability to define and communicate target architectures and transition roadmaps.

- Fluent German and English.

Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
