You will draft new and revised product contract forms, ensuring they are complete, accurate, and legally sound. You will also manage contract‑form projects end‑to‑end—building strong relationships with internal partners, external stakeholders, and regulators to support successful outcomes. Additional responsibilities include supporting state filings, maintaining regulatory approvals, and communicating clearly with state insurance departments. You will analyze legislative and regulatory developments, conduct research to support legal and product development, and lead or contribute to various cross‑functional projects. This position reports to the Product Contracting Manager.

 

What you do:

  • Contract Drafting:
    • Draft new contract forms and revise existing forms.
    • Participate in all activities related to the drafting and documentation process.
  • Legislative Updates and Other Legal Requests:
    • Review legislative and regulatory updates to ensure continued compliance of filed forms.
    • Identify when new forms or revisions are required.
    • Respond to internal requests regarding historical filings and regulatory requirements.
  • Filing & Process Management:
    • Prepare and submit state filings; obtain and maintain state approval of product forms.
    • Coordinate communication with regulators and internal partners.
    • Support team efficiency through proactive process management, including activity tracking, document retention, and metrics reporting.
  • ​​​​​​​ Use artificial intelligence tools to enhance drafting, research, and process efficiency.

 

 

What you bring:

  • JD Required
  • 2 or more years of experience required
  • Knowledge of insurance products and the regulatory frameworks governing them
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines
  • You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future. This includes holders of H-1B, H4, L-1, L-2, TN, OPT, CPT, and other nonimmigrant visas.
